This dress has quickly become one of my favorites. I think it's even more rewarding to find a dress that fits perfectly when it's a one-of-a-kind vintage piece as opposed to a new dress from a store. It just proves that is was meant to be for me to own it. I got this dress at my favorite thrift store called Aubergine in Sebastopol, Ca. I love evening out the cost of expensive accessories with an inexpensive thrifted dress.
My friend and very talented photographer Andrew took these pictures of me in a field of sunflowers we found a couple miles outside Davis. I love the colors of the sunflowers, the sky, and the dress together. And there's something about the simple, 50's-esque pumps that pulls the look together perfectly.
